POWER SUPPLY

Domino LED ligh fittings may be powered in three different ways:

With a mains power supply of 220-240 VAC

Each device must be directly connected to the 220-240 VAC mains power supply: no remote power supply unit is required, since it is already integrated in the fixture.

With constant-current power supplies (350-500-700 mA)

Constant-current power supply units (commonly known as "drivers") are used where a power supply cannot be integrated due to the small size of the fitting. The output current (mA) determines the maximum intensity of the light generated. The devices must always be connected in series, and the maximum feeding current allowed for each fitting must not be exceeded. Each power supply module has a user limit which depends on the number of single LEDs to be fed (maximum 12 LEDs). Regulation of light intensity is possible only by using dimmable power supplies.

With constant-voltage power supply modules (Simplex 12-24VDC)

These power supply units are available with 12 or 24VDC output voltage: our catalogue shows a range of power from 20W to 150W, but bigger sizes are available or on request. These power supplies can feed all light fixtures equipped with Simplex system. Light fittings are connected in parallel mode. Regulation of light intensity is easily achieved only by adding an optional dimming module to the circuit.
